Alistair joins NGA with a wealth of industry and leadership experience gained from helping businesses develop markets and sell high value service solutions to customers.
Before joining NGA, Alistair spent five years as Executive Director at Communisis plc, a £200m revenue, fully listed Marketing Services Provider, where he led and supported his team to transform and grow the business. Previously he held senior leadership positions at Synstar plc and Hewlett Packard, where he delivered all IT services to Hewlett Packard’s corporate and enterprise customers, worth about £600m per annum.
Alistair will be responsible for growing revenue and profit for the UK, Ireland and South Africa, as well as developing strong relationships with NGA’s UKISA growing list of customers and prospects in order to drive future sales growth in the region.
The appointment follows the news that Simon Caunce will be leaving NGA later this year.
Mike Ettling, Chief Executive at UK headquartered NGA said: “The UK continues to be one of our core regions globally and Alistair brings a wealth of invaluable management experience to the company. We are determined to push forward and expand as a business. I am confident that through Alistair’s leadership we will see not only serious sales growth but also further development of the region’s culture and values.”
Alistair Blaxill added: "It is fantastic to work for a company that enjoys a strong position in each of the areas in which it operates. NGA has always provided and delivered strong HR technology platforms and these will continue to be an important part of our business. However I see a major opportunity to grow our HR outsourcing business to take advantage of an increasingly dynamic market place. This, along with the opportunity to provide combinations of our business offerings to deliver increasing benefit to our excellent customer base, is what attracted me to NGA”
