Aer Lingus Outsources HR and Payroll with NGA

Delivering a 10m euro integrated HR and Payroll Outsourcing solution, Airline Aer Lingus has outsourced its HR and payroll functions to NorthgateArinso (NGA) marking the biggest single contract for NGA Ireland in its 40 year history.

11th April 2012: NorthgateArinso (NGA), a leading provider of award-winning HR solutions, in Ireland and across the globe, is today announcing a six year contract with Aer Lingus to provide an integrated HR and Payroll Outsourcing solution. This is the biggest single contract for NGA Ireland in its 40 year history.

Aer Lingus, the national airline of Ireland serving in excess of 10 million passengers a year, is one of the country’s most iconic brands. In line with its on-going strategic and operational reviews, the company decided on a major transformation of their HR and Payroll systems and processes. NGA will partner with the Aer Lingus team to consolidate all its existing HR processes into a single integrated solution.

The contract will see HR and Payroll outsourced for Aer Lingus’ circa 4,000 employees with the establishment of a HR shared services centre at Dublin Airport. The venture will also involve the delivery of NGA’s flagship ResourceLink Aurora HR solution which will be used to manage Aer Lingus’ payroll, HR administration, talent management, recruitment and staff learning & development requirements. ResourceLink Aurora’s Self-Service module will under-pin the delivery of HR services to employees and managers across the company. The new solution will deliver improved management information capability, while also allowing for greater flexibility in the provision of HR services.
