NorthgateArinso grows relationship with UK Mail

6th February 2012: Leading HR services provider NorthgateArinso (NGA) is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with mail services provider, UK Mail, for a five-year term with the UK flagship Resourcelink Aurora solution for HR, and Payr

The contract demonstrates NGA’s growing expertise in delivering HR solutions to the mail and delivery sector, adding to an already impressive client list.

UK Mail is the largest independent national mail and logistics service provider, with almost 3 billion items from over 2,000 customers passing through their doors every year, and constituting 17 percent of all addressed mail within the UK. Holiday periods are particularly busy times, and with the need to hire additional staff to cope with the extra demand an efficient and productive HR and payroll solution is a necessity for the company. By understanding the impact seasonal changes can have on UK Mail’s business, NGA are providing an outsourced payroll service and HR technology that reduces risk and has the flexibility to evolve as UK Mail’s business changes seasonally and over the long term.

The contract also demonstrates NGA’s understanding of UK Mail plans for development within the internet mail sector in particular with the introduction of the iMail website and recent ipostparcels service. NGA’s ResourceLink Aurora, a web-enabled integrated HR and Payroll solution used by 500 organisations in the UK, was selected to provide UK Mail’s 3,000 staff with HR, payroll, and management, and will allow UK Mail to progress with expansion plans more effectively.

UK Mail HR Director, Kelly Rock said: “We’ve worked with NGA for a number of years. The relationship has evolved into a partnership following encouraging developments in the past 18 months as NGA has developed services while growing market-share, we have made them our partner of choice going forward – for HR and payroll needs, with available options for wider HR services activity in future”.

NGA Sales Director, Jonathan Legdon said: “This partnership will be a win-win for both businesses. NGA will take care of the day-to-day running of people services through our flagship HR and payroll solutions, so the continued development of back office services is a considered move using a market-leader like NGA”.
