1 Standard Identity and Financial Check
Establishes the candidate’s identity and financial status from publicly available information. Report includes any County Court Judgements, Bankruptcy and Voluntary Arrangements covering a 6-year period in addition to a search of the public electoral register against a 6 year address history (as provided by the candidate). The search also uses the CAPS (Credit Application Previous Searches) database to investigate any discrepancies in name, addresses, date of birth and marital status between the data the candidate has supplied and other applications he/she may have made in the past 12 months. This check meets the requirements of BS7858; reports are provided online and/or via email within a few seconds.

2 Employment History Verification
Provides a written reference from employer or personal referee, typically covering company name, period of employment and position on leaving. Reports are provided via email in 5-10 working days.

3 Academic Qualification Check
Provides written confirmation of an academic degree or secondary education qualification. We contact the academic establishment to confirm period of attendance, the type of qualification gained, subject(s) studied and grade(s) achieved. Reports are provided via email in 5-10 working days.

4 Professional Membership Check
Provides written confirmation of professional and trade memberships, including levels and dates of affiliation. Reports are provided via email in 5-10 working days.

5 Passport Check
Electronically scans the machine readable zone of a passport to record name, period of validity etc. Uploads details into Candidate Verification application. Verifies 4 check digits and (optionally) validates Passport number against name and address within 5 days.

6 Driving Licence Check
Validates Driving Licence and number of endorsements within 5-10 days. A monitoring service is also offered on a volume of licences (eg so that new endorsements are reported).

7 Criminal Record Check
Available at three levels;

Basic level - listing all unspent convictions
Standard level - listing all spent & unspent convictions
Enhanced level - listing all spent & unspent convictions and providing additional information at discretion of chief constable
