Fully Integrated
Empower Payroll is a fully integrated payroll module to the Empower HRIS, this allows new starters to be entered in to Recruitment, contracts confirmed in HR and assigned to a Pay Group and/or company in Payroll. Business process automation can allow this process to flow automatically with the relevant users checking the process to proceed at the relevant points.
Empower Payroll allows unlimited companies and can have multiple pay groups in each company allowing for different PAYE references, tax offices and bank accounts; making Empower Payroll extremely saleable from single company use to payroll bureaus.
Rules Based
All elements in Empower Payroll are date driven and rule based for calculations. This allows you to configure the elements you want the way you want them and assign them to employees when they are required. Full retrospective payments can be enabled on each element allowing for any back dated pay awards.
Pension Schemes
Unlimited pension schemes are available for configuration by the payroll user; easy to create with pre-defined rules for default NI codes and pre or post-tax deductions. Schemes can be set up as fixed amounts, individual employee percentages or global scheme percentages, with up to four different bands. Empower Payroll supports a wide range of schemes including salary related, money purchase, stakeholder and more.
Statutory and Occupational Schemes
Statutory pay such as Maternity and Sickness are calculated automatically, in conjunction with any Occupational Sick Pay and Occupational Maternity Pay (OSP/OMP) schemes you run. These schemes are easily administered from within the system and can be based upon length of service supporting the majority of schemes.
Car Fleet Management & P11D
Track company cars and drivers, including fuel, service history, along with mileage and accident information. Accurately record taxable benefits and produce HRMC approved P11D forms without the need of an extra module.
Batch Data Entry
You can create rapid data entry grids to alleviate repetitive variable data-entry processes and bring data in to Empower from other business applications, such as Time & Attendance using tools such as the built in Import Wizard.
Empower Me Integration
With powerful salary modelling allowing for budget creation linking to self-service to allow the managers to decide on the final pay increase Empower puts you in control of the reward increases.
Employees can enter their timesheet information online for payments such as Basic Hours and overtime giving variable data entry to control to the employees and managers freeing up Payroll Administrators time.
Online Payslips are available to view and print in pdf format online along with P11D and P60’s.
Powerful Reporting
With the standard reports in Empower Payroll the management information you need is at your fingertips. A powerful report designer, query tools and graphical analysis designed for the HR users ensure that you get the adhoc information you require when you need it.
Business Alerts Manager is the next generation of report writing, proactive rather than reactive. Configure rules based alerts and once the trigger is hit Business Alerts Manager will email the intended recipient the report. The recipients can be external providers, for example a pension provider could be sent new starter information or the recipients can be employees, managers and HR included in the report, allowing for reminders such as training courses or return to work forms after a sickness to be sent dynamically the relevant individuals. Business Alerts Manager not only gives you Management Information where you need it, when you want it but raises the profile of HR as it is seen as proactive rather than reactive.
