Absence Management - will the football affect your business this summer?

Absence Management is a challenge for HR Professionals all year round but it can especially cause a headache at times when absence is at a peak.  One such example is during major sporting events when either matches are played during working hours or feeling the effects of 'the night before' people do not make it into work.

Organisations deal with these issues quite differently, from flexible working hours to TV's in the staff room showing the match - but have you considered how you will deal with absentism during this summers major football tournament?

With matches scheduled throughout the week and some kick-off times at 3pm this needs to be a consideration.
